The east side of Rancho Las Canas rises up to, and backs onto, a gorgeous mountain-side.  It is raw, desert land and has never been developed.

 

As you see in the video, there is lush greenery all around providing warmth, natural beauty and the glorious sounds of crickets at night, singing birds during the day without blocking the expansive views of surrounding mountains, peaks and valleys, and the endless blue and starry skies.

 

It was in this area that we decided we would build our home, to take advantage of the spectacular views to the south, west and north from the top of the property.

 

This spot also provided maximum privacy and peace and quiet because of its distance from the road.  There are no homes on either side of the build site (north or south).

 

We ran electrical and water lines up to the build site in 2024 for the builder’s crew.
